OAU Graduate builds Android watch.

The watch can say the time in Yoruba Language.

A graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University named Moyinoluwa Adeyemi who studied Computer Science and mathematics from Obafemi Awolowo University has to her glory an Android application that says the time in Yoruba language. Moyin as she is popularly called is a Software Engineer at Swifta Systems and also a co-organizer at Google
While speaking to her on how she managed to build the application on a watch, she said that “One Friday evening after work, I had moment. I looked at a clock and thought What if it could tell the time in Yoruba?. That question has lead to the development of an Android Watch Face that tells time in Yoruba language” she concluded.
She further explained that it was not easy for her, as she had to get the ideas from her colleges and friends. “I had to do extensive research before I came up with a working prototype. It will probably be the first ever indigenous watch face app on the google play store.”
The Yoruba Watch Faces by Moyin is a collection of Watch Faces built in a popular local Nigerian dialect. There are currently two Watch Faces in the collection both of which are in Yoruba Language. The illustrations were created by @TheVunderkind and they depict a man and a woman dressed in the traditional Yoruba attire. The Watch Faces work on all screen types; chin, square and circle.

The many colours of success

Many Colours of Success We live in a world where money literally means success, where assumptions overrule certainties and stereotyped beliefs instill fears in people. It's a great thing to dream, hope and fantasize, but to what end? Dreams, especially for the undisciplined is a waste of time because it will shift with circumstances and will most likely remain a dream till such person dies, which makes the mortuary the wealthiest abode in human existence. Hope on the other hand is futile without realistic hard work, can be narrowed depending on the size of the expectations but with a recent cliché that most people have adopted which says "expectations bring disappointment"... I wonder what this means. What is success? Outstanding performance at an examination? Marriage at the end of a long courtship? Pregnancy after a long wait? Victory at a highly competitive pitch? Victory at the polls as a politician? Hitting the jackpot at a lotto? Lifting the trophy as a c
